Hell is Getting More Crowded All the Time

Gotta love Huckabee. When he first started running for office, a lady asked him, "Are you one of those narrow-minded Baptist ministers who think only Baptists will go to heaven?" He replies, "Actually I'm more narrow than that. I don't think all the Baptists are going to make it."

Sorry 'bout being out of the loop. The semester is winding down, and the pressure is ratcheting up. But, I thought you might be interested in this article. The Huckster just might be someone to watch.

Just remember almost half way there. You can do it!

I just read an article in World Magazine that said he was gaining favor among the evangelical crowd, but not necessarily with prominent Christian leaders.

Hello,

I have been so busy I lost track of time and haven't been to visit in too long.

Drop me an e-mail or a comment and lets keep in touch.

Greetings from The Practicalist.

I apologize for having to write to you in a comment, but it appears blogspot has decided to quit recognizing my login. I don't know why, and I am not sure if I can get it back. If not, then I will probably have to create a new blog. If so, I'll let you know.

Meanwhile...
Finals are finally finalized for this, the semester finale. I'm not sure how I did, but I really hope it was well enough that I can come back with confidence next semester.

We have been truly blessed this season - much more so than I deserve. My family deserves it all, and I don't mind the ride.

Christmas is finding Mr. and Mrs. The Practicalist, and all our The Practicalist chitlens happy, although not exactly healthy. The cold bug has been attempting to assimilate into my body, as well as some of the family. It hasn't knocked us out just yet, although the flannel sheets have had a little more appeal at times.

The extra time spent in my throne room attempting to expel this awful demon have given me opportunity to read up a little and contemplate my appreciation for this beautiful season. I appreciate that I have the ability to celebrate the birth of my Savior. I also appreciate that I must do everything in my power to preserve that ability. My children were able to experience secularism this season, as their school very adamantly prohibited any celebration of a religious nature, unless your religion was a celebration of nature. Interesting how they are released from school just in time to celebrate Christmas with a few days afterward to get tired of their gifts, yet they may only refer to it as Winter Break.

Anyway...
The old Huckster is still looking pretty good... sort of. I appreciate a man who is not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, I only wish he would be a little less shameless in his use of the gospel of Christ to promote him at the polls. The man who must proclaim his faith is a little less credible than the man whose faith is proclaimed by those who know him.

Likewise, Romney could be a little less shameless in invoking the mantle of Reagan. It's a real turn-off. Let your works speak for themselves.

In case I can no longer gain access to my own blog, I will update you on where you can find me, once I find me. In the meantime, check out some of my old stuff. Some of it is pretty good.

Merry Christmas, and may you come to realize the personal love of the Lord of Heaven and Earth.
